BETTY COOPER

Betty Virginia Cooper, 89, retired tax assessment clerk
 and a resident of Neodesha, died Sept. 26, 2006.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 
at the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of Watson Funeral Home, Wichita.

She was a Brownie and Girl Scout troop leader for many years.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Lopez, La Jolla, Calif., 
and Eden Cooper-Millsap of Mesa, Ariz.; 
sisters, Shirley Cannady of Bison and Margie Gray of Neodesha; 
grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Coop” Cooper; 
two sons, Larry Cooper and Craig Cooper, six sisters, and two brothers.
