DELORES J. COHEE

Delores J. Cohee, 65, of Neodesha, Kansas passed away Friday,
April 27, 2007 at her residence in Neodesha.
Delores J. Cohee was born October 28, 1941 in Neodesha, Kansas
to Walter Warden Bryan and Jessie June (Tafoya) Bryan. She
attended schools in Neodesha, graduating from Neodesha High
School in 1961. On May 23, 1961, she married Daniel K. Cohee
in Neodesha and they later divorced in 1982. She was a member
of the Bethel Church of God in Neodesha, the Ladies Auxiliary,
VFW and Royal Neighbors.
Through her life she worked several years at the Wilson County
Hospital as a nurse’s aide and about six years for the Osa
Martin Johnson Safari Museum in Chanute. She was retired at
the time of her death.
Delores is survived by three children, two sons, Warden L.
Cohee of Denton, Texas and Eddie L. Cohee of Fredonia, Kansas
and a daughter, Teresa J. Prather of Independence, Kansas. She
is also survived by her parents Warden and June Bryan of
Neodesha, Kansas; two sisters, Mary Ann Bryan of Thayer,
Kansas and Francis McGinnis of Parsons, Kansas; and four
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Lee Bryan.
Cremation will take place under the direction of the
Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel of Neodesha, Kansas.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m.,
Wednesday, May 02, 2007 at the Neodesha City Cemetery. The
family has suggested memorial contributions to the American
Heart Association. Memorials may be left with the funeral
home.
