Marion Bailey

Marion Drew Graham Bailey of Lawrence, KS, formerly of Neodesha, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor. She was 93.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006, at the Neodesha Cemetery under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel. The Reverend Dave Cheshier will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel Monday evening from 6:30-8 p.m.

The daughter of Clyde and Ruby (Badgley) Graham, she was born August 31, 1913, in Butler, MO. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of the United Methodist Church of Neodesha.

On April 15, 1941, she was united in marriage to Maurice S. Bailey. He preceded her in death December 15, 2003.

Survivors included two sons, S. Graham and wife Kathy of Lawrence, KS, Jeffrey W. and wife Peggy of Denver, CO; one daughter, Naida Bailey Stone and husband Will of Magnolia, TX; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Bailey Klingenberg.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Good Samaritan Fund at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor which may be left at the funeral home.
